About the ArtistAlmost three years ago, I decided to make a quilt. I'd slept under them my whole life, seen them made, and the ones I had were approaching the end of their lives. So I cut up some old clothes, bought a quilting magazine at the grocery store, and made a nine patch quilt. Then it snowballed. After creating a collection of unfinished bed sized quilt tops, I started finding articles and websites about quilt ART. Blown away by the ideas and technique that were out there, I wanted to do that. It began with Bargello, and another addict was born. It's two plus years later, and I feel I have had a wonderful beginning and have a long and glorious road ahead of me. Once a floundering artist searching for a medium, I am now immersed in fabric and
couldn't be happier.
My designs are
original and
one-of-a-kind. My
inspiration is
driven by nature,
dreams, and good design. I remain completely self-taught, and strive to keep a fresh artistic eye. Much of my work in non-objective and tends to study color and contrast interaction. I am a native West Virginian. I live with my husband Bryan and some crazy animals in Bellwood, WV in the Southeastern part of the state.
So, look around, drop me a line. Bear with me as I complete and
